LEGALIZATION OF DOCUMENTS
Any Algerian citizen holding a valid identity document can request authentication of their power of attorney from Algerian consular services abroad by following this procedure:
- The applicant must complete the power of attorney form, (click here to download the form);
- Present a valid Algerian identity document (passport or national identity card);
- The applicant must sign the power of attorney in the presence of a consular officer;
- Pay a 5 € consular fee.
Note: The applicant's presence is mandatory.
This procedure involves the authentication of original documents and certificates, or their certified translations, as well as the verification of their photocopies against the originals, subject to the following conditions, depending on the nature of the document:
- The document must be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Algerian Community Abroad;
- The document must be authenticated by Algerian diplomatic and consular missions abroad;
- The document must be authenticated by the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
- The document must be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova.
Required documents:
- A valid identity document;
- A power of attorney if the applicant is absent, or a letter of authorization from a legal entity;
- The original document to be authenticated, meeting the aforementioned conditions;
- Payment of the consular fee of €2 per authenticated document.
Any Algerian citizen of legal age may request authentication of their signature from the consular services by following this procedure:
- The applicant must appear in person;
- Present a valid Algerian identity document (passport or national identity card);
- Sign the document in front of the consular officer;
- Pay a €2 consular fee.
Il s'agit de l'authentification de documents commerciaux répondant aux conditions suivantes, selon leur origine :
- Le document est authentifié par le ministère des Affaires étrangères et la Communauté nationale à l'étranger ;
- Le document est authentifié par les missions diplomatiques et consulaires algériennes à l'étranger ;
- Le document est authentifié par le ministère des Affaires étrangères ukrainien ;
- Le document est authentifié par le ministère des Affaires étrangères de la République de Moldavie.
Documents requis :
- Une pièce d'identité valide du demandeur (passeport ou carte nationale d'identité) ;
- Une procuration en cas d'absence du demandeur ou un certificat d'autorisation d'une personne morale ;
- L'original du document à authentifier, conforme aux conditions ci-dessus ;
- Le paiement des frais consulaires de 60 € par document authentifié.
A travel authorization is required only for minors under 18 years of age traveling without their parents or legal guardian.
This authorization is valid for three months from the date of issue.
The presence of the parent or legal guardian is mandatory.
The application for parental travel authorization includes:
- A valid Algerian identity document (passport, national identity card);
- An extract of the child's birth certificate or a full copy of the child's birth certificate, or an extract if the child was born abroad;
- Payment of the €2 consular fee;
