Ambassador Ahmed Ouail presented his credentials to the President of Ukraine, His Excellency Volodymyr Zelensky, on April 7, 2026.

The President congratulated the Ambassador on officially assuming his duties as head of the Algerian Embassy in Kyiv and wished him every success in his new role.

Discussions during the audience focused on the situation in Ukraine and the Middle East, as well as the state of bilateral relations and ways to further strengthen them in the future.
